Creature

Official plot: An ex-Navy seal, his girlfriend and their friends head out on a road trip to New Orleans. The group decides to stop at a roadside convenience store owned by Chopper, who tells them the tale of Lockjaw, a fabled god-like creature who is half-man, half-alligator.

The legend has it that an inbred local man by the name of Grimley lost his family to a monstrous white alligator, which then drove him to madness and some believe he was transformed into that very creature that now haunts the depths of the swamps.

Their curiosity peaked, the group decides to play along with the local tourist trap and journey deep into the backwoods to find the old dilapidated cabin which is supposed to be the birthplace of the creature.

As they set-up camp for the night, their faith is put to the test when Lockjaw turns out to be more than just a myth and they realize the locals are hiding a horrifying secret that jeopardizes them all.

John Carpenter's Prequel: The Thing

After 30 years since it was first launched, John Carpenter's THE THING gets prequelized. The prequel tells about an American graduate student who heads to the Antarctic to join a Norwegian team of scientists.

The team has accidently discovered an alien-like creature buried in the ice, first they thought it was dead but the the alien is pretty much alive. While trying to help the alien that buried in the ice, there is something else in this huge no one land. It's a parasite that can imitate anything it touches and it favors men to survive and breed.

Joel Edgerton co-stars as a chopper pilot who helps Winstead, with newcomer Matthijs Van Heijningen Jr. making his directorial debut from a script by BATTLESTAR GALACTICA's Ronald D. Moore and Eric Heisserer.

Sherlock Holmes A Game of Shadows: Official Teaser Trailer

The first two official posters of upcoming film "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" have been widely posted on the web. One poster gives a close up look at Robert Downey Jr. as title character Sherlock Holmes with Jared Harris as villain Professor Moriarty on the background. The other poster captures a close range shot of Jude Law as Dr. John Watson with a less clear look at Noomi Rapace as gypsy woman Sim.

Set in 1891, "Sherlock Holmes 2" tells the story of fabled detective Holmes, along with his longtime trusted partner Dr. Watson, who continues his pursuit of Professor Moriarty whom he suspects as the world's S Class villain.

Hitting theaters on December 16, Guy Ritchie-directed sequel stars Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Noomi Rapace, Jared Harris, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Fry and Gilles Lellouche.

Shark Night 3D

The plot is about seven friends who are spending a weekend at a lake house discover the waters are infested with sharks.

In its first trailer, we can see that a sexy summer weekend turns into a blood-soaked nightmare for a group of college students trapped on an island surrounded by voracious underwater predators.

Arriving by boat at her family's Louisiana lake island cabin, Sara (Paxton) and her friends quickly strip down to their swimsuits for a weekend of fun in the sun. But when star football player Malik (Walls) stumbles from the salt-water lake with his arm torn off, the party mood quickly evaporates.

Assuming the injury was caused by a freak wake-boarding accident, the group realizes they have to get Malik to a hospital on the other side of the lake, and fast. But as they set out in a tiny speedboat, the college friends discover the lake has been stocked with hundreds of massive, flesh-eating sharks!

As they face one grisly death after another, Sara and the others struggle desperately to fend off the sharks, get help and stay alive long enough to reach the safety of dry land.

Abduction

Source Code

Again, one movie about time travel but now with more sci-fi, action and thriller touch. Source code is about a soldier, Captain Colter Stevens who wakes up in the body of an unknown man. He discovers that he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train.
In an assignment unlike any he's ever known, he learns he's part of a government experiment called the "Source Code," a program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last 8 minutes of his life. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack.

Most Anticipated Movies in 2011

In 2011, we will see huge franchises rolling out new installments, but it will also include a few original releases.

We find a sequel audiences didn’t even expect to happen anymore: the fourth film from the “Mission: Impossible” series, now going under the name of “Ghost Protocol.”

On April 15 comes another sequel fans didn’t even dare hope will ever be made: “Scream 4,” which will reunite the old cast and also bring on board countless young stars, many of them already popular for their work on TV.

We will also find the third and final film in the “Transformers” franchise. “The Dark of the Moon” comes out on July 1 and is highly anticipated for several reasons: first, it’s the last; secondly, is in 3D and, thirdly, it’s no longer with Megan Fox but with Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

On June 2, “Cars 2” will come out and it will hopefully turn out to do the same for Pixar as “Toy Story 3,” the highest grossing film of 2010 and the biggest animated film ever..

On June 2, JJ Abrams unleashes upon the world “Super 8,” a film that has been kept much under wraps for most part of 2010, but whose existence has long been confirmed. Buzz about it is building online as we speak.

So far, moviegoers got only a teaser, which failed to show too much about the film: it did show, however, that a train containing “items” from Area 51 was derailed and something got out.

Up next on the most anticipated list are two superhero films that have been long in the making: “The Green Lantern” with Ryan Reynolds and “Captain America: The First Avenger” with Chris Evans. They’re out in theaters on June 17 and July 22, respectively.

The last installment of “Harry Potter,” “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II,” comes first, representing the end of a very long, adventurous and, above all, record-breaking successful journey. Set your calendars for July 15: it’s the end of an era. In 3D, of course.

Buried: New Poster

Buried tells about a contractor who works in Iraq, Paul Conroy (Ryan Reynolds). After a group of militants attacked Iraq, Paul woke up and found himself buried alive in a coffin under the ground.

He did not recall any incident before he fell asleep, but he slowly began to remember everything. Armed with only a lighter and a cell phone, he races against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap, the oxygen supply is running low. Paul only had 90 minutes to escape before his life ended.

Saw 3D Teaser Trailer and New Poster

From the Saw series, Saw 3D the latest Saw film, this time will be scarier because it will be released in 3D format. Kevin Greutert will return to direct this latest series, having previously also gush Saw VI.

Kevin also plays his role as the editor since the beginning of this series until Saw-5. Saw VII planned to hit worldwide theaters on October 29, 2010. Saw 3D will bring back Dr. Gordon, played by Cary Elwes.

The doctor who first appeared in earliest Saw film, this time will be accompanied by the presence of other players such as Cary Elwes, Costas Mandylor, Betsy Russell, Sean Patrick Flanery, Gina Holden, Chad Donella, Laurence Anthony, Dean Armstrong, Naomi Snieckus, Tanedra Howard, Shauna MacDonald and of course, Tobin Bell, the jigsaw, as the soul of this film will again present in this film.

There is not much to tell at this time because the official only revealed that this film will tell you about a group of people who had survived the terror of the jigsaw, now seeking protection and support from a man who also survived brutality from the jigsaw, this guy is Bobby Dagen.

According to Oren Koules, producer for all these Saw films, Saw 3D will be the last film of the Saw series.

Let Me In: Latest Trailer and New Movie Poster

"Let Me In" was a remake of a Swedish film with title "Let the Right One In", a film by Tomas Alfredson that has been successfully received many awards.

It is about a 12-year-old boy named Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee)which has been continuously bullied by his classmates and ignored by his divorced parents. No friends and alone, Owen spends his days with making plan to revenge his evil friends.

At night, Owen often spy on other tenants in his apartment. Owen finally has a new friend named Abby (Chloe Moretz), a girl his age who lived next to his apartment. Abby who like to come out at night with bare feet seemed immune to the cold of winter.

Because of the similarity between the fate of the two, Owen was able to open with his new friend. They were finally in a relationship that is very unique.

Director Matt Reeves has made the story a bit difference from the original film, the difference is from the name of the character in his remake, if the original film there are Oskar and Eli, in his film the name was changed to Abby and Owen.

Starring Chloe Grace Moretz, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Richard Jenkins, Cara Buono, Sasha Barrese, this film will be release on October 1st, 2010 (wide).

Drive Angry 3D: Teaser Poster & Trailer

Drive Angry is a psychological thriller wrapped in an action film directed by Patrick Lussier, the director who previously gush horror film My Bloody Valentine. This film will be starring Nicolas Cage as a "fugitive" from hell.

Milton (Nicolas Cage) has only one mission after managed to escape from hell that is to redeem all his sin in a way to stop the satanic cult that killed his daughter. Milton has three days only before their sacrifice her daughter's baby at the full moon.

Milton will be accompanied by Piper (Amber Heard), they both will be together in the pursuit of the satanic cult, including the deadly leader Jonah King (Billy Burke). He believes that this is his destiny to sacrifice a baby to bring hell on earth.

The bloodthirsty satanic cult is not the only problem for Milton, because the police are also pursuing him. The situation get worse when a killer named "The Accountant" is also hunting Milton, this assassin is sent by the devil to bring Milton back to Hell.

Drive Angry will also be starring Amber Heard, Billy Burke, William Fichtner, Kaley Cuoco and Katy Mixon. The film will be released in 3D format and scheduled to release on February 11, 2011.

Faster Official Trailer

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson after playing the role as a tooth fairy in The Tooth Fairy, this time The Rock will serve as ex-con in the movie titled Faster. This is an action drama film with Billy Bob Thornton, Maggie Grace and Oliver Jackson-Cohen. Recently, CBS Films has just released Faster some new photos and an official trailer.

Faster is about a man named driver (Dwayne Johnson) who, after 10 years in prison come out with one purpose which is to revenge for the death of his brother (who was killed in a bank robbery crime). Two men become his targets, the first one is a veteran cop who will soon retire (Billy Bob Thornton) and an assassin named Killer (Oliver Jackson-Cohen). Driver has only one purposes to uncover the truth behind his brother's murder. In the midst of it, drivers just find out aware that the name list he has is not complete and soon become some back fire, when the situation turned him into the target.

Faster is starring Dwayne Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Gugino, Maggie Grace, Moon Bloodgood, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Matt Gerald, Annie Corley Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Marisa Saks Micaela Johnson, Aedin Mincks and Jeffrey Daniel Phillips. Resident Evil: Afterlife New Poster and Trailer

The fight for the living dead is continue. Alice is back with "Resident Evil: Afterlife". The film started its production in Toronto, Canada, and will be released in 3-D format. Actress Milla Jovovich will return to fight with the zombies and the company called Umbrella will continue to be part of this film.

Ali Larter and Spencer Locke who previously played in "Resident Evil: Extinction" will continue their respective roles in this film. While for new actors, there is Wentworth Miller, who will play as Chris Redfield.

Paul W. S. Anderson sits as the director and also as the write and producer of this film. He was also the previous director and writer of "Resident Evil" (2002). "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" (2004) and "Resident Evil: Extinction" (2007).

This film is still about deadly and dangerous virus that has been changing the face of this world becomes a place full of death and zombies. In the midst of a world that has really ended, Alice travels continue to search for human survivors and bring them to a safe place. Her fight with Umbrella Corporation also continues but this time with more deadly weapons.

Alice get help from an old friend, together they walked into the Los Angeles, who believed the safest place from the "living dead". But once on the city, Alice actually found that the whole town has been occupied by thousands of zombies. A lethal trap has also been prepared for Alice and her friends.
