Salt: Now with Theatrical Trailer

"Salt" was played by Angelina Jolie as Evelyn Salt. A CIA agent who has been sworn in for duty, honor, and country. Yet, surprisingly and unexpectedly she was accused of being a Russian spy by a defector.

Hunted like a fugitive, Salt must find a way to clear her name and prove that she is truly a patriot. Using all the skills gained from years of experience as an agent of the various covert operations, Salt must now attempt to avoid her own arrest and protect her husband. If she doesn't make her move then the most powerful force in the world will remove all the trace of their existence.

The film was directed by Phillip Noyce (Catch a Fire) and written by Kurt Wimmer and Brian Helgeland. Starring Liev Schreiber (Defiance, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) as Winter, a friend and supervisor of the Salt in the CIA office in Russia, and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Children of Men, American Gangster) as the Peabody, the man who tried to impose Salt. This film is scheduled to premier worldwide on July 23, 2010.
