Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a great wizard in the modern world. He fought in the city of Manhattan to defend the city from enemies, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). Balthazar can not do everything himself, so he recruited Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a regular guy who actually has a hidden potential in him. Dave made disciples.
