Rio is brought to you by the director of Ice Age Carlos Saldanha with International cast Anne Hathaway, Neil Patrick Harris, Rodrigo Santoro, George Lopez and Jake T. Austin. Blue Sky Studios’ computer animated movie is about a nerdy macaw who leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio de Janeiro.
He embarks on the adventure of a lifetime, learning to open himself up to all that life has to offer along the way. Set in the magnificent city of Rio de Janeiro and the lush rainforest of Brazil, the comedy-adventure centers on Blu, a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind. When Blu discovers there’s another — and that she’s a she — he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio.
But it’s far from love at first sight between the domesticated and flight-challenged Blu and the fiercely independent, high-flying female, Jewel. Unexpectedly thrown together, they embark on an adventure of a lifetime, where they learn about friendship, love, courage, and being open to life’s many wonders.
‘Rio’ brings together a menagerie of vivid characters, a heart-warming story, colorful backdrops, energizing Latin and contemporary music, and family-friendly song and dance, scoring is presented by John Powell. The movie is in 3D/2D, schedule to release on April 8th, 2011.

Rio: 2nd Trailer
The Eagle
THE EAGLE’s screenplay is adapted by Jeremy Brock from Rosemary Sutcliff’s classic novel “The Eagle of the Ninth”. This movie brought us back to 140 AD, that's when two men – master and slave – venture beyond the edge of the known world on a dangerous and obsessive quest that will push them beyond the boundaries of loyalty and betrayal, friendship and hatred, deceit and heroism.
20 years earlier, Rome’s 5,000-strong Ninth Legion, under the command of Flavius Aquila, marched north carrying their treasured golden Eagle emblem. They never returned; Legion and Eagle simply vanished into the mists.
Hearing a rumor that the Eagle has been seen in a tribal temple in the far north, Flavius’ son Marcus (Tatum), determined to restore the tarnished reputation of his father, is galvanized into action.
Accompanied only by his slave Esca (Bell), Marcus sets out into the vast and dangerous highlands of Scotland – to confront its savage tribes, make peace with his father’s memory, and retrieve the hallowed Eagle. Along the way Marcus realizes that the mystery of his father’s disappearance may well be linked to the secret of his own slave’s identity and loyalty – a secret all the more pressing when the two come face-to-face with the warriors of the fearsome Seal Prince (Tahar Rahim).
Starring Jamie Bell, Channing Tatum, Donald Sutherland, Mark Strong and Tahar Rahim, directed by Kevin MacDonald
and produced by Tessa Ross, Duncan Kenworthy, Caroline Hewitt. Release date is set on February 11th, 2011 (wide).

Vanishing on 7th Street
The film begins with a power outage hit Detroit. When electricity is restored, it becomes apparent that a large majority of the population has vanished, their bodies eradicated and just their clothes remaining. Only a few random survivors remain: a TV reporter (Christensen), a physical therapist (Newton), a theatre projectionist (John Leguizamo) and a young kid (Jacob Latimore).
They discover that the amount of daylight has rapidly decreased and that they must remain in lighted areas to avoid being devoured by hovering shadows (often in the form of human silhouettes). Even worse, the emergency generator they’re using to power their hideout (a local bar) is about to fail.
This thriller genre movie is scheduled to release on January 7th, 2011 (Video On Demand) / February 18th, 2011 (limited). The main casts are Hayden Christensen, Thandie Newton and John Leguizamo. What if one morning when you woke up, the world as you know it.. vanished!
The following trailer is the first trailer, watch it!

Most Anticipated Movies in 2011
In 2011, we will see huge franchises rolling out new installments, but it will also include a few original releases.
We find a sequel audiences didn’t even expect to happen anymore: the fourth film from the “Mission: Impossible” series, now going under the name of “Ghost Protocol.”
On April 15 comes another sequel fans didn’t even dare hope will ever be made: “Scream 4,” which will reunite the old cast and also bring on board countless young stars, many of them already popular for their work on TV.
We will also find the third and final film in the “Transformers” franchise. “The Dark of the Moon” comes out on July 1 and is highly anticipated for several reasons: first, it’s the last; secondly, is in 3D and, thirdly, it’s no longer with Megan Fox but with Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
On June 2, “Cars 2” will come out and it will hopefully turn out to do the same for Pixar as “Toy Story 3,” the highest grossing film of 2010 and the biggest animated film ever..
On June 2, JJ Abrams unleashes upon the world “Super 8,” a film that has been kept much under wraps for most part of 2010, but whose existence has long been confirmed. Buzz about it is building online as we speak.
So far, moviegoers got only a teaser, which failed to show too much about the film: it did show, however, that a train containing “items” from Area 51 was derailed and something got out.
Up next on the most anticipated list are two superhero films that have been long in the making: “The Green Lantern” with Ryan Reynolds and “Captain America: The First Avenger” with Chris Evans. They’re out in theaters on June 17 and July 22, respectively.
The last installment of “Harry Potter,” “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II,” comes first, representing the end of a very long, adventurous and, above all, record-breaking successful journey. Set your calendars for July 15: it’s the end of an era. In 3D, of course.
0ther movies that are also highly anticipated are: "Sucker Punch," “Source Code,” “Cowboys and Aliens,” and “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I,” "Battle Los Angeles," and "Thor." Below is the first theatrical trailer of Transformers: The Dark of the Moon.
