Andrew Garfield is Spiderman

Colombia Pictures and Marvel Studios has officially announced the cast for the next Spiderman movie, the choice falls to 26-year-old young actor from England, named Andrew Garfield.

If the name is still unfamiliar for you, Garfield previous role is as Anton in the movie "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" directed by Terry Gilliam and starring Christopher Plummer and the late Heath Ledger.

Garfield will also be playing in a movie about Facebook founder "The Social Network", beating other nominees such as Jamie Bell, Josh Hutcherson, Alden Ehrenreich, Frank Dillane, Kick-Ass actor Aaron Johnson and Anton Yelchin.

In a statement regarding the election of Garfield to play as Peter Parker, Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) says that audiences will love Garfield as Peter Parker, because his talent is extraordinary.
