First Concept Image at Steven Spielberg's Terra Nova

For TV series audiences, director Steven Spielberg is back, and this time he brings a whole new series about the story of prehistoric era. This latest project is called Terra Nova.

The new concept image of this TV series has been just released featuring the prehistoric world of Terra Nova with the mountains towering and dinosaur. Somewhat similar to the beautiful world we had seen in Avatar.

Terra Nova will be setting in prehistoric world about 150 million years ago. It will become an extraordinary adventure of a family who was thrown back into prehistoric times inhabited by dinosaurs, dinosaurs as part of a massive expedition to save mankind.

Behind this series, sitting in a chair is the executive producer Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park, The Pacific), Peter Chernin, Brannon Braga (24, Enterprise) and David Fury (24, Lost).

Terra Nova has not yet been scheduled but is expected to launch in early 2011 and is planned to be made as many as 13 episodes.
