From the Legendari Creator of Canon the Barbarian: Solomon Kane

The legendary creator of Conan the Barbarian, Robert E. Howard has also created Solomon Kane, a 16th century anti-hero. This anti-hero movie will hit screens on December 2009. The casts are James Purefoy, Max von Sydow, Rachel Hurd-Wood and Pete Postlethwaite, directed by Michael J. Bassett and distributed to the rest of the world by New Line Cinema.

The story is about Solomon Kane (James Purefoy) a man that may never dreamed that he would repeatedly dealing with mystical beings from another worlds. But when it happened, Solomon had no option but to dedicate himself to capture and destroy the evil creatures although it meant he had to travel all over the world to complete this holy mission.

What Solomon’s did for life before the sacred mission was a soldier to Queen Elizabeth I, he was stationed among other soldiers in Africa. His work since the beginning was never far from the business of taking life, and he just executed his work without any regrets until one day he meets a supernatural being called The Reaper (played Ian Whyte), what happened after the meeting changed Solomon’s entire life, then he decided to return to England and serve God.

Solomon hopes that he may grant forgiveness for he had sinned by taking so many lives. But fate has decided the other way, not very long after his repentance effort, Solomon again was tempted to take up the sword, it was not intended to kill fellow human beings but to hunt evil creatures from another dimension. This action, adventure and fantasy’s genre movie was filming in Europe, Prague, Czech Republic.
