From the Legendari Creator of Canon the Barbarian: Solomon Kane

The legendary creator of Conan the Barbarian, Robert E. Howard has also created Solomon Kane, a 16th century anti-hero. This anti-hero movie will hit screens on December 2009. The casts are James Purefoy, Max von Sydow, Rachel Hurd-Wood and Pete Postlethwaite, directed by Michael J. Bassett and distributed to the rest of the world by New Line Cinema.

The story is about Solomon Kane (James Purefoy) a man that may never dreamed that he would repeatedly dealing with mystical beings from another worlds. But when it happened, Solomon had no option but to dedicate himself to capture and destroy the evil creatures although it meant he had to travel all over the world to complete this holy mission.

What Solomon’s did for life before the sacred mission was a soldier to Queen Elizabeth I, he was stationed among other soldiers in Africa. His work since the beginning was never far from the business of taking life, and he just executed his work without any regrets until one day he meets a supernatural being called The Reaper (played Ian Whyte), what happened after the meeting changed Solomon’s entire life, then he decided to return to England and serve God.

Solomon hopes that he may grant forgiveness for he had sinned by taking so many lives. But fate has decided the other way, not very long after his repentance effort, Solomon again was tempted to take up the sword, it was not intended to kill fellow human beings but to hunt evil creatures from another dimension. The Crazies

This movie is a remake of George Romero's 1973 classic same title The Crazies. The trailer released is quite promising from its thrilling and horror aspects. This movie is directed by Breck Eisner and screenplay by Ray Wright & Scott Kosar, hits theaters on February 26, 2010.

The plot is about David Dutton (Timothy Olyphant) one sheriff of Ogden Marsh, a little perfect American town with blissful, obedient citizens. All things suddenly change within one night where one of them comes to a school baseball game with a loaded shotgun. Another man burns down his own house after locking his wife and young son in a closet inside.

Thing get worst just within days, the town has changed into a horrible asylum; people who days ago lived calm, routine lives have now become corrupted, some turns to blood-thirsty killers, hiding in the darkness with knives and guns. Sheriff Dutton tries to fit of what's happening as the terrible, irrational hostility rises. Something is infecting the citizens of Ogden Marsh with insanity, it later find out all are caused by some of the accidental release of a military biological weapon upon the inhabitants of this town.

The tension increase when the uninfected try to escape as the government has isolated this town, the government has ordered the town to be quarantined. The few still sane now find themselves trapped, there are Sheriff Dutton and his pregnant wife, Judy (Radha Mitchell); Becca (Danielle Panabaker), an assistant at the medical center; and Russell (Joe Anderson), Dutton's deputy and right-hand man. Forced to band together, an ordinary night turns out to be sickening fights for survival as this group do their best to get out of town alive.

Dear John by Nicholas Sparks now is a major motion picture

From the best-selling author of The Notebook, Nicholas Sparks comes another major motion picture also based on the same writer best selling novel Dear John. This was a story about John Tyree and Savannah Lynn Curtis about love and loyalty to beloved country.

John Tyree does aware that he is ready to turn over a new leaf when Savannah Lynn Curtis enters into his life. An angry rebel, he had enlisted in the army after high school, because he cannot see what else he can do. Then he meets the girl of his dreams. Savannah Lynn Curtis under one vacation, she is attending college in North Carolina, working for Habitat for Humanity, and completely not ready for the passionate attraction she feels for John Tyree. The attraction is from both site and quickly grows into the kind of love that leaves Savannah promising herself to wait for John while he finishes his tour of duty and at the same time John thinks he's ready to settle down with Savannah, the young woman who has capture his heart. But none of them can predict that 9/11 is about to change the world and will force John to risk every expectation and dream that he's ever had. Like so many proud men and women, John must decide between love and country. And like all those left behind, Savannah must choose to remain or get going.

The upcoming period epic “The Warrior and the Wolf” directed by veteran Chinese Zhuangzhuang Tian what we can tell from its trailer is about some Chinese soldier types wandering into the desert and getting their fill of some supernatural happenings. This movie also stars sexy Maggie Q, she shows up to seduce the hero and have passionate sex by a campfire. In the trailer we show wolves show up in packs. Except that valiant Lu Chenkang (play by Joe Odagiri) belongs to a different type. This man is brave, loyal and extremely skilled in the art of war. On the other hand, he is kind-hearted and reluctant to assassinate. Although he has a pet wolf cub, he maintains his own animal instincts at bay.

At the time his commander and friend, General Zhang Anliang (Tou Chung-hua), is badly injured just before the early winter, Lu let himself to command of the troops. Forced to locate shelter in the village of the strange Harran tribe, he realizes a beautiful young woman (Maggie Q) hiding in his shelter. A widow shunned into loneliness, she has a fierce personality and fights Lu in every way she can before surrendering to his passionate embrace, having fallen for him against her better judgment. She appears to have the weird capability to take his mind to a place where memories run over with dreams and legends and that was a place where humans were once wolves.
