Furry Vengeance (2010)

Never underestimate the power of nature. When nature's wrath, no man can survive nature's fury. Unfortunately, Dan Sanders (Brendan Fraser) forget this wise advice. Without a second thought anymore, he started some construction by opening new land which was originally a forest.

For Dan who works as a land developer, the opportunity of this new project means huge benefits. There's nothing to be feared by Dan Sanders as long as he got the approval to proceed with the construction. Any party that tries to ruin this project, he is willing to take legal action as response. Unfortunately there is one threat which is missed by Dan, which cannot be legally settled.

As soon as the forest creatures realize that the place where they live will soon be gone, as there is no other choice, the animals decided to fight back. In a very short time, the forest which was initially quiet and peaceful has now become some battlegrounds between animals and humans. Audiences can expect lots of funny scenes showing how the forest creatures fight to get back their home.

In this latest version trailer of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" launched very recently, more and more new scenes shown the main character Freddy Krueger. At first glance of the trailer, this movie is quite promising, but we have to wait until April 30, 2010.

Oscar-nominated actor Jackie Earle Haley ( "Little Children," "Watchmen") will play as the central character in this film, which is Freddy Krueger himself. Studio Ghibli 2010 Anime Movie: Karigurashi No Arrietty (The Borrowers)

Studio Ghibli is famous for its beautiful animation movie such as Spirited Away which has been awarded with many awards; in this 2010 this studio will release a new movie with title "Karigurashi No Arrietty" (The Borrowers). Unlike other Ghibli movies that most of the time was directed by Hayao Miyazaki. This latest project was entrusted to Hiromasa Yonebayashi as the movie directed.

Hiromasa Yonebayashi is not a total stranger when it comes to Studio Ghibli, he has long known as one of the best animators, working for animation movie Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away. At the age of 36 years, Yonebayashi become the youngest person to be director for Studio Ghibli. Yonebayashi film debut was an adaptation of the famous British novel "The Borrowers" by Mary Norton. Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away) and Isao Takahata (Grave of the Fireflies) had long thought to develop this novel into an animated movie; it was since 40 years ago.

Director Peter Hewitt had already adapted the same novel into movie with the title "The Borrowers" which was produced in 1997 featuring John Goodman. "Karigurashi No Arrietty" tells about a "borrowers" family who live peacefully in a house made of items borrowed from the human. Their lives began to change when Arrietty, 14-year-old, was found by humans. This movie is scheduled to hit big screen on 2010-07-17 (Japan) while for the rest of the world, there is still no information available so far.

The Last Airbender - First Theatrical Trailer

M. Night Shyamalan's latest film is an adaptation of the popular cartoon series from Nickelodeon called "Avatar: The Last Airbender." Because the title "Avatar" was first used by James Cameron, the film title was leaving with no option to use the same title so it was called "The Last Airbender" just to avoid mistakes later.

Air, Water, Land, and Fire. Four countries are united by fate in times of "Fire" declared war and launched a brutal attack to other countries. A century has passed with no hope of a change of this mess. Caught between the battle, Aang (Noah Ringer) later realizes that he is an Avatar with the power to manipulate the four elements.

Aang and his friends Katara (Nicola Peltz), a water control, and his brother Sokka (Jackson Rathbone) take a journey of adventure together, with a noble goal to restore the balance in their world.

One of the animated movies that had certainly impressed the jury in world's most prestigious movie ceremony the Oscar 2010 is The Secret of Kells. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

The story is about a young descendant of the god Poseidon, 12-year-old named Percy Jackson who must release her mother who has been kidnapped by minotaur and in conflict with the ruler of the ancient Greece gods. Percy Jackson is accused of stealing Zeus's lightning and the helmet of hades, so that all the gods and monsters are chasing him. Percy Jackson was given a mission to return those sacred objects to the mountain Olympus before the big battle.

This movie is directed by Chris Columbus (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone) will be released on February 12, 2010.
