The Secret of Kells

One of the animated movies that had certainly impressed the jury in world's most prestigious movie ceremony the Oscar 2010 is The Secret of Kells. This animated movie has been nominated under the best animated feature category. The entry of this animated movie as one of the nominees was a big surprise as it's less popular compared with other nominees.

This animated movie tells about the adventures of a 12-year-old boy named Brendan who had to fight the Vikings and a serpent god in his efforts to find a crystal to complement the legendary Book of Kells. This Animated movie is rich with beautiful art graphic images.

Directed by Tomm Moore and Nora Twomey; produced by Ivan Rouvreure, Didier Brunner and Tomm Moore and starring the voice talents of Brendan Gleeson, Evan McGuire, Christen Mooney and Mick Lally.
