'Mother' Starring Bin Won!

'Mother', starring Korean actor Bin Won and senior actress Hye-ja Kim, directed by Bong Joon-ho (The Host, Crush and Blush, Memories of Murder) will be on big screens worldwide on March 12, 2010. This movie worldwide distribution is under Magnolia Pictures.

For Bin Won’s fans worldwide this is the chance to see him playing in a movie again after his injury. This movie has already been released in Korea last year under title ‘Madeo’ and gains huge attention from Korean movie lovers.

'Mother' is a movie about a 27-year-old-son who suffered some mental disorder (Bin Won) and he was accused of murder, the mother (Hye-ja Kim) desperately tried to prove that her son was not a murderer, and strive to defend it even though the case has actually been closed.

The message of this movie is to show the love of a mother, who will go through everything just to prove her son is innocent! This movie is nominated for 2010 Independent Spirit Award under Best Foreign Film and won Best Film in 2009 Blue Dragon Award.
