Ghosts of Christmas in Disney's A Christmas Carol

Disney is already preparing for this Christmas season with a brand new trailer for A Christmas Carol, but the teaser isn't exactly filled with affectionate and joyfulness.

Jim Carrey stars as Scooge in Disney's A Christmas Carol; this movie is directed by Robert Zemeckis and brings Charles Dickens' classic book to life using the latest computer performance-capture technology.

But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet To Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing the truths old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before everything is too late.

The Princess and the Frog – with the latest trailer!

The Princess and the FrogFor cartoon movie lovers who entirely admire an enormous portion of Disney’s animated films, and yes Pixar does count too, you all know of the supposed revival of their 2D animated features with The Princess and the Frog, or pretend to. That’s right, Disney has electrocuted its hand drawn animation department and are bringing the latest princess adventure to the big screen in the re-telling of the famous tale of the frog princess.

One of the top highlights of this that many people have gone on about for ages is Disney’s introduction to the first African American princess. Written by Ron Clements and Rob Edwards along with being directed by Ron Clements & John Musker, this upcoming Disney tale will certainly grasp interest of at least the people who watched some of the biggest 2D animated films that came out in the late 80s/early 90s in their ‘golden era’.

The story is about a prince named Naveen from the land of Maldonia is transformed into a frog by the evil scheming voodoo magician Dr. Facilier. The frog prince asks a waitress named Tiana to break the spell by kissing him. Unfortunely, the kiss doesn’t break the spell, but instead turns Tiana into a frog as well. What happen next is, the two of them must get to the good voodoo priestess of the Bayou, Mama Odie, while befriending a trumpet-playing alligator and a hopelessly romantic firefly along the way.

The Princess of the Frog musical score is by Oscar Winning composer Randy Newman ("Monsters, Inc.", "Cars", "Toy Story") Cast of The Princess and the Frog includes: Princess Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), Prince Naveen (Bruno Campos), Eudora (Oprah Winfrey), Dr. Facilier (Keith David), Mama Odie (Jenifer Lewis), Lawrence (Peter Bartlett), Eli "Big Daddy" La Bouff (John Goodman), Charlotte La Bouff (Jennifer Cody), Ray (Jim Cummings), Louis (Michael-Leon Wooley) and James (Terrence Howard).
